Elizabeth Feinler

Elizabeth Feinler is known for choosing and deciding which domians which are most common today such as .com, .gov, and .org. She was also a part of organizing the original internet system called ARPNET. During the last part of her career, she worked at NASA and helped them set up the NASA science internet. Since she retired, Elizabeth has also been an active volunteer at the Computer Histroy Museum in Mountain View, CA. Elizabeth Feinler has definitely contributed to comptuer science in numerous ways and without her contributions, we woudn't be able to navigate the internet as easily and the internet would be more confusing to browse, use, and work.
